Chungjuho Lake

Description
Chungjuho Lake is a multi-purpose lake made from domming a river. it is clean, and the largest lake in Korea. At the Chungju Dam Ferry Dock, Ferries depart to follow the Watterways of Chungjuho Lake. The ferry travels to Oksunbong, Gudambong, and Manhakcheonbong Peaks, Choga Rock, Whale Rock, Hyeonhakbong, Onodong, Sinseonbong, Gangseondae, Beodeulbong, Oseongam, Seolmabong, Jebibong, and Dumusan to reach its final destination at Sindanyang Dock. When the ferry draws near Cheongpung Ferry Dock, you can see the second highest water fountain in Asia from the boat. The nearby Chungjuho Lake Resort is considered the best lakeside resort in the nation, and it has various sports, recreational, and entertainment facilities. Having all the popular lake sports facilities one can enjoy at the lake is one of the reasons the resort stays so popular with tourists. Nearby Chungjuho Lake are Mt. Woraksan National Park, Cheongpung Culture Center, Danyang 8 sceneries, Gosugul Cave, Suanbo Hot Springs, and other well-known tourist sites that draw many people to this area.
Directions
From Chungju Station, take a bus headed to Chungjuho Lake Dock. Get off at the Dock.
From Chungju Intercity Bus Terminal, take a Direct Bus to Danyang, and get off at Janghae. Travel time about 50 minutes.

   -> Chungjunaru: First Ferry 09:30 – departs every 30-60 minutes; Last Ferry 15:00,

   -> Danyangnaru: First Ferry 11:00 – comes every 30-60 minutes; Last Ferry 16:00,
        about 8-10 departures per day

   -> Chungjunaru: First Ferry 10:00 – depart every 60-90 minutes; Last Ferry 14:00,

   -> Danyanganru: First Ferry 12:00 – comes every 60-90minutes; Last Ferry 16:00,
        about 4-5 departures per day
- Ferry Fee: age 14 and older - 6,000 won, age 13 and under - 3,000 won
