Geography
Thailand has an area of approximately 513,115km©÷, almost the same area as France. Thailand is the central point of Southeast Asia, sharing borders with Myanmar to the northwest, Laos to the northeast, Malaysia to the south, and Cambodia to the west. Thailand is divided into 4 areas. Elephants roam and wild strawberries grow in the northern mountainous region. The world's best rice and fresh fruits grow in the lush central plains. Beautiful beaches line the southern peninsula, and dry highlands make up the northeast region.
Climate
Thailand has a tropical climate with an average temperature of 27 ~ 30”ĘC. In the summer, the intense hot temperatures increase to 40”ĘC. The dry season is from mid-November ~ mid-February, the summer season is from mid-February ~ mid May, and the rainy season is from early May ~ early November. |
