  Geography The United Kingdom is divided into England, Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland. The Channel Islands are a part of the British Isles, but they are self-ruling by Common Law. Wales is covered by remote hilly countryside in the south, and rocky wilderness in the north. The small country of Scotland is divided into the mountainous Highlands and the hilly Lowlands. Climate Travelers to the United Kingdom can often experience 4 seasonal weather changes all in one day. Even in the middle of summer, after a rainfall or sundown, the weather can get quite chilly. It's also especially foggy in the winter with very cold temperatures. The average temperature between January ~ February is 4¡ÆC, and 16¡ÆC between July ~ August. The average annual rainfall is approximately 800mm. Refunds can be received through Global Refund. Travelers can request a Global Refund form at any participating stores and have it stamped by a customs official when leaving the EU (European Union). Then the form can be submitted to any Global Refund counters at all major airports and border crossings for an immediate refund.
