For this unique service representing traditional Korean hospitality,
the origin dates back to Asiana's inaugural flight in December 1988.
To express our genuine gratitude, the entire crew stood outside waving
hands to customers after deplaning. We have heard from many customers
who were on that bus that the farewell ceremony was touching, and
subsequently became an Asiana's tradition. If a remote area is chosen
for boarding or deplaning, all our crews say good-bye with waving
hands, rain or shine. |
