Your Safety Belt

Please keep your safety belt fastened whenever the safety belt light is on. Even when the light is off, it is a good idea to keep the belt fastened while in your seat in case of any sudden turbulence. You'll find instructions concerning the use of flotation devices and oxygen masks in your seat pocket.
Medical Supplies

Nonprescription pain relievers and drugs for indigestion are available as well as emergency drugs that can be given when there is a doctor on board. Our 767s and 747s (used on international long-distance flights) also have operating equipment that can be used by a doctor during an emergency. Passengers are advised that there is an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) on board B767/B747 planes for use in the event of a heart attack.
To make a long flight more comfortable

Avoid drinking caffeinated beverages like coffee or tea; instead drink lots of water. Avoid liquor while on board. Avoid tight clothing or knee-high stockers that may impede circulation, even while you're seated. Shift positions often; try to take regular walks in the aisles or perform stretching exercises.
No Smoking

Smoking is prohibited in all areas of the airplane. There is no designated smoker's seating on any Asiana flights, domestic or international. Please note that this applies to the lavatories and aisles as well as passenger seating. We hope that in spite of the inconvenience this may cause, smokers will cooperate with us in making all flights safer and more pleasant for everyone.
