Dongjin Irrigation Folk Museum
The Dongjin Irrigation Folk Museum features a vast collection of old document, farming and household tools and sold irrigational items including the mujawi (a water pump), which was used to move water from lower areas to higher areas, the matdure (a water scoop) and a yongdure (a large, scooped wooden bowl). Over 1,200 farming tools and household items are also displayed.
PanAsia Paper Museum
The PanAsia Paper Museum provides visitors with an opportunity to enhance their understanding of the history of paper in Korea and throughout the world. The first exhibition hall features displays on the pre-paper era, the birth of paper and its dissemination, and the effects of paper on civilization. The second hall features a program in which visitors can participate in the craft of paper folding, with instructions given by computer. Visitors can also take part in paper-making programs in a section of the hall dedicated to hanji reproductions. There is also an exhibit here on the future of paper
Damyang Bamboo Museum
The Damyang Bamboo Museum has a wide collection of bamboo products and information on bamboo's history. The exhibition room features household items such as fine-tooth bamboo combs and hair pins used by women in olden days, as well as kitchen utensils like bamboo baskets, winnowing baskets and various other bamboo-related products. In the special exhibition hall, there are bamboo swords and musical instruments like the tungso (a bamboo flute). Bamboo products produced in Damyang, an area famous for its high quality bamboo, are displayed and sold in front of the museum.
