Jeju Teddy Bear Museum
The Jeju Teddy Bear Museum is the place where teddy bears of all kinds, from across the world during the past century, are on exhibit. It houses a historical display and art galleries, a museum shop, and an outdoor garden where visitors can admire an unobstructed view of Jungmun Beach. Teddy bear exhibits depicting the history of this beloved doll, from the 1900s to the present along with antique teddy bears. The art galley exhibits teddy bears made by internationally renowned artists and cartoon characters loved by children.
Jungmun Fishing Village Museum
The Jungmun Fishing Village Museum is a fishing village called Beritnae, meaning 'the village of falling stars,' which has been remodeled to resemble its original form. About 20 households remain in this fishing village, which has a history of hundreds of years. About 3,000 pieces of farming and fishing tools, which illustrate the work done in the daily lives of fishermen, are on display in the museum, along with various household items.
Sinyoung Cinema Museum
In the entrance to the museum, visitors can see the portraits of 150 Korean actors and actresses who have made significant contributions to the development of Korean cinema from the 1920s to the present. The museum is a sort of hall of fame for the Korean cinema community. The Cinema History Exhibition Hall features visual presentations that depict the birth of cinema and world cinema history, as well as various trends in the history of Korean cinema. It enables visitors to enhance their understanding of Korean movies by allowing them to operate motion picture equipment from the 19th century. The museum is equipped with numerous facilities, such as an information search area, a cinema simulation room, a character shop, a snack bar and an outdoor cafe.
