Standing at the top of Mt. Namsan in the heart of Seoul, Seoul Tower isa 240-meter tall tower completed in 1975, providing the city's highest viewpoint. Often regarded as Asia's most beautiful tower, the tower is visited by thousands of people every day and night. This is also where people can get the most exciting night view of Seoul, the dramatic light shows made by skyscrapers, inner city highways and the long bridges of Hangang River.

Just before the Namsan cable car platform and near the Seoul Institute of the Arts, there is small cafe where actors and students from the school visit regularly. Pour La Coree is French for "For Korea" and it is built using windowpanes so that you can watch the activity from both the outside and inside. After having a coffee, take a walk through the Namsan promenade and appreciate the Seoul city view.

Paengnihyang (or Bailixiang in Chinese) is a Chinese restaurant specialized in traditional Guangdong and Sichuan style cuisine. Excursion Ship
• Eantastic Night View of Seoul from an Excurision Boat.
It was 15 years ago that Seoul began the service of commercial excursion boats on Hangang River, the major waterway of the Korean capital flowing from east to west. Now, six excursion boats and ten speed boats sail along the river linking four different wharfs. Operated many times day and night, these excursion boats have become more popular along both Korean and overseas tourists who want to see the wonderful night view surrounding the river. The visitors can find star-struck lovers, nighttime joggers, idle youngster and contented anglers on the spacious river banks brightly lit by orange lamps with huge bridges, riverside highways and skyscrapers, also brightly lit, of office blocks and apartments at the back. The boats often provide exciting live concerts.

One attraction is the heart-shaped garden on the lower deck of The Second Olympic, also called as the "Boat of Love" from the garden. In the evening, the garden is spotlighted creating an atmosphere that many think very romantic. It is also a place where you can often encounter a young Seoulite with a bouquet confesses his love openly to a girl.

• Water Music on the Sirens Haunting Place
Yeouido - Nodeul Naru (Ferry) / Jinseong Naru (Ferry )
One of the most loved vantage points around Hangang River is the Yeouido wharf, located between Wonhyo Daegyo Bridge and Mapo Daegyo Bridge with Yuksam (63) Building at one side. The place also provides a delightful rest area where visitors can enjoy relaxing music over a variety of wine imported from across the world. Listening haunting music over a glass of good wine in a place surrounded by wonderful riverside scenery will remain a very special experience for most visitors.

Yanghwa - Yanghwa Naru Ferry
The Yanghwa wharf is located between the Seongsan Daegyo and Yanghwa Daegyo Bridges, and is a great place to appreciate the beautiful scenery of Yeouido and Bamseom ("Chestnut Island"). Always fresh and cool with winds from the West Sea, the place is particularly loved during summertime. The service building for excursion boats have two nice restaurants, Arisu (Korean style) on the first floor and Spring Street (Western style) on the second floor.

Jamsil - Nue Naru Ferry / Jinju Naru Ferry
The Jamsil wharf is located on the eastern part of Hangang River next to the Olympic Sports Complex. The water here is cleaner than any other part of the river within Seoul, mostly because it is nearer to the river's upper stream. The section between Dongho Daegyo to Seongsu Daegyo Bridges is also famous for the view of sunset over Mt. Namsan, which many regard as Seoul's best sunset.

Ddukseom - Dokdo Naru Ferry Located between the Yeoungdong Daegyo and Cheongdam Daegyo bridges, the ferry station building of Ddukseom Wharf is lavishly decorated outside and inside like a palace floating on the river. The lighthouse observatory decorated with the yin-yang symbol is a main attraction providing a wonderful scenic view of Hangang River surrounded by skyscrapers of downtown Seoul. A cocktail bar on the buildings 3rd floor is loved by those who watch the sunset that turns the whole river into red. The place is also very popular among water skiers in the capital.
