Taegeuk 5-Jang
This level teaches regulation of strength within a
movement. New moves utilize the elbows, kicking in combination with multiple
defensive moves, and hitting in combination with a jump. |

Taegeuk 6-Jang
Take extra care to blend each movement into
another, making them flow together like water. Make sure to return the kicking
leg in a forward position after delivering the kick. |

Taegeuk 7-Jang
Movements on this level must be performed with
firmness. Because the program is more complicated, you must concentrate on
connecting them fluidly. Many new movements are introduced, so take extra care
to memorize them. |

Taegeuk 8-Jang
This is the last stage of low level training. Take
special care with the movement of the feet, in which you learn to kick and
retreat by two steps. Observe for the slight differences in each move.
