health risks that could be prevented by simple antibiotic shots. Also be wary of
exotic food and drink. The last think you want to do is get sick on your
vacation. A First Aid Kit may be cumbersome to pack, but could save you a lot of
grief. If you plan on going to exotic destinations, a first aid kit should be
essential. You can purchase one from your local pharmacy or create your own.

- a first-aid manual - aspirin - antiseptic
- antibacterial ointment - antihistamines - cortisone cream - an
antacid such as Alka-Seltzer - something for diarrhea - insect repellent
- Calamine lotion - sunscreen - adhesive bandages - butterfly
bandages - sterile gauze pads (2" x 2" and 4" x 4") - an elastic bandage
- a thermometer - razor blades - tweezers - a needle scissors
